CUAAASC Chinese Opera Club was established on January 1, 2021. It aims to promote Chinese culture and traditional opera art among alumni fens in Southern California. As one of the top three historical dramas, Chinese traditional opera is as well-known as Greek Comedy and Indian Sanskrit Opera. More than 360 operas are popular in China, among which Peking Opera, Yue Opera, Huangmei Opera, Yu Opera and Ping Opera are popular and classic. The club sincerely welcome CUAAASC alumni and their family friends who are interested in any forms of Chinese operas to join us.
